Testimonials

"Dr. Swim,
My son and I had such a nice time with you the other day.  A few of my thoughts...
The horses that Dr. Swim brings to her therapy are such beautiful and peaceful animals that they bring out the beautiful and peaceful natures of ourselves that we sometimes struggle to bring to the surface."

"I enjoyed feeding the horses and talking to Dr. Swim while taking them for a walk.  The horses smelled really nice and I liked meeting all the different horses.

Thanks for sharing this experience with us."

"I was able to talk to Dr. Swim about things that were never brought up before. Being at the ranch was so peaceful that I felt free to do or say anything. Although we talked about some issues most of our conversations were so natural and about the horses and the environment. I left so relaxed, happy, and much less concerned about what I had thought before were big problems."

"She first picked us up in a golf cart and we took a tour of the ranch. There were hundreds of horses and they all looked like they wanted to be petted and talked to.

I actually asked advice from Jack—Dr. Swim’s horse and he gave some good thoughts!

All the animals were so friendly—it made you happy just being there."

"Having an outdoor session with Doctor Swim and her horses is calming and relaxing.  Horses are intelligent, sensitive animals, almost magical. Being outdoors with the horses and talking with Doctor Swim makes it easy to let go of worries and realize what a beautiful day it really is. I loved it and highly recommend the experience!"

"It was so good to see you again.  Before we came my eight year old son was pretty certain that he didn't want to come.  He's very afraid of dogs and big animals.  I got him to eat and just relax a bit and then he was fine about coming.  On the way home he said his favorite part was brushing them, especially Jack.  He said there was no bad part and he really enjoyed it.  It was really good for him to be around such big gentle creatures and friendly dogs, it's easing his fears.

My oldest son felt like an old hand having been there before and I think he felt kind of grown up.  He doesn't often express an interest in wanting to act that way, despite encouragement.   I think he's kind of in awe of the horses.  They all liked the miniature horse.  My four year old daughter is an animal lover but gets nervous around them, even our own cat.  She neighed the whole way home.

I asked her what her favorite parts were and she named just about every single thing we did and when she forgot something, my younger son would suggest something else that he enjoyed.  My older son felt good to be back around the horses... and you.
Thanks so much again for having us out there.  It truly is so relaxing being with such beautiful animals."
